The goal
Built for Octopus Wealth, the London wealth-management company of Octopus Group: let advisers find a client, turn their financial data into a presentation of their investments, and show it in a meeting or save it as a PDF.
How I built it
A React and Redux web app, built remotely from Lisbon with a distributed team. Client data is created in Voyant, exported as CSV and imported into Google Sheets; the app searches those sheets, builds the slides and charts with D3.js, and was deployed on Google Cloud.
The challenge
Editable charts: advisers can change colours, move, remove or swap the icons and edit the labels, and every change is saved to a new tab of the same client spreadsheet so the presentation can be reopened later.
